If you checked my blog for UFC 100 Predictions, you saw that I correctly predicted all three fights. Nice. More importantly, the one that I bet heavily on, GSP over Alves, easily won.
For UFC 101 I am going with Kenny Florian, a sizeable underdog, to beat BJ Penn. It will be a tremendous fight, regardless of the outcome. I believe Florian is better conditioned, and he will take advantage of BJ in the later rounds. BJ is notorious for getting tired and giving up. Florian's elbows are wicked. One nasty elbow and cut and BJ will be on the defensive. Florian, a 2-1 underdog, is the bet.
In the other fight, take Silva. Griffin is out-classed in this matchup. Silva is a Lock.
I have $500 on Florian to win a grouper ($1000) and $1500 to win $500 on Silva.
