SUPERBOWL PROP BET:

I purchased this pick from LockoftheDay.com and I really, really like it. I am betting heavily on this prop bet ($3500). Wish me luck!

Superbowl Prop Bet:
Edgerrin James Under 42.5 yds rushing

"Bet the Under on this proposition bet! THERE IS NO WAY EDGERRIN JAMES COVERS THIS NUMBER!!!!!! First of all, James will be facing the #1 defense in the NFL. Nobody runs on Pittsburgh! Second, James doesn't get the ball!! Tim Hightower has earned the starting job. James gets a few carries to start the game, then Arizona will go to Hightower! Hightower is younger and quicker. James has seriously lost a step. He never makes anybody miss. He is easy to tackle and not elusive like he was to start his career. Arizona has the worst rushing offense in the NFL! They are ranked last! Furthermore, what will happen in this game? The Steelers will have a big second half lead; Arizona will be forced to pass. They will not be running the ball. Even if they do, Hightower will get the carries. The Steelers held the Chargers to 15 yards rushing total!! James might not even play in the second half!
Prop bet Over is 42.5 yards -110 at Sportsbook.com
Prop bet Over is 40.5 yards -125 at Bookmaker.com
Prop bet Over is 38.5 yards -150 at World Sports Exchange
Prop bet Over is 41.5 yards -120 at most Vegas sportsbooks
This bet covers FOR SURE!!!!! Like all our Lock Of The Month wagers, this pick is worth 2 Lock wins or 2 Lock losses. It will be a big fat win!!! No doubt!!!"

That's what they sent me. I love this bet. Sometimes you just know you are on the right side of a wager. Unfortunately, it is not often I get that feeling. This is the one!

Eleven reasons why online sportsbook SPORTSBOOK.COM sucks!

=====================================================

SPORTBOOK.COM INFORMATION:

Ever search for an online sportsbook? Who knows which one to choose. Who knows which one to trust. This season I have been using Sportsbook.com. They are one of the biggest offshore books, if not the biggest. I used them for this entire football season. Happy to say, I put the hurt on those bastards! Yeahhh!!

Well, now its time for a sportsbook review. I have discovered that the only online sportsbook reviews are done by websites who get kickbacks from online sportsbooks. So you can't trust em! Here is one you can trust from a guy who loves to gamble.

Why Sportsbook.com sucks:

1) Withdrawal fees - $20 each and every withdrawal. Even higher fees for FedEx. Withdrawals should be free.

2) Hidden deposit fees. From your credit card, your money is turned into Costa Rican currency, and your credit card company charges you 3% or more for the exchange.

3) Max bet of $500 for 2008 Superbowl, what a joke.

4) Withdrawal time of 35-50 days. Wow!

5) Sportsbook.com really frowns upon withdrawals; they do everything they can to prohibit or delay your withdrawal.

6) In order to be allowed to withdraw funds, they require you to fax a copy of your utility bill to their office in Costa Rica.

7) In order to be allowed to withdraw funds, they require you to fax a copy of your drivers license to their office in Costa Rica.

8) Customer Service takes 3-7 days to respond to withdrawal inquiries, but deposit inquiries are responded to within an hour.

9) Maximum deposit is $1990, so no big bets.

10) 10 point teasers Ties Lose. The only sportsbook ever where Ties Lose.

11) Sportsbook.com is attempting to corner the market of online bookies, so they continue to open new sportsbooks based out of the same small office in Costa Rica. These include:
Superbook.com
Mysportsbook.com
Racebook.com
PlayersOnly.com
Allstar.com
Betusa.com
Logans.com
Sports.com
sportsbetting.com

As you can see, it's very frustrating to be at the mercy of a third world sportbook. The sad part is, other online sportsbooks are even worse. There are a number of stories of players winning big and the sportsbook cancelling their account and ending all communication. So be careful.

Which online sportsbook do I recommend? I might be doing a blog about that in near future. If you really want a recommendation email me at conroycan@gmail.com

SAM BRADFORD IS THE NEXT JOE MONTANA

==========================================================

Matthew Stafford of Georgia gets more attention as an NFL prospect, but Oklahoma's Sam Bradford is the better quarterback. Bradford is the best college QB to come along since Aaron Rodgers. Sam Bradford will be a star!

Yes, Stafford from Georgia has a stronger arm. So what. Haven't we learned by now that strong arms don't mean shit?! I.E. Heath Shuler, Jim Drunkenmiller, JaMarcus Russell, etc. Those cannon-armed QBs were all instant busts. (Yes, JaMarcus is a bust.)

Bradford has plenty of this > the number one quality you look for in a quarterback. What is that quality? What is the number one quality you want in a quarterback? Good question. It's not athleticism. It's not arm-strength. It's not elusiveness, or height, or even intelligence. It's not experience. It's not mobility. It's not coaching. Many would say it's decision-making. Nope. Even more important than that. It is....accuracy. Troy Aikmen-type accuracy. Joe Montana-type accuracy. Aaron Rodgers has that type of accuracy. So do the Manning brothers, Tom Brady, and a few others. Even if you make the wrong decision, and throw to a receiver well-covered instead of the wide open receiver, accuracy can overcome that mistake. Accuracy is the one attribute NFL defense's cannot stop. Sam Bradford has that accuracy. Have you seen this kid play?! He is a joy to watch.

Not only does Bradford possess excellent accuracy, he has other intangibles like being able to look off his first receiver, his second receiver, and then throw a bullet to his third option. And he can do it in a split second. This is extremely important in the NFL. Most NFL quarterbacks don't have that tool. Most QBs, Jay Cutler comes to mind, never look to their 2nd or third option. Cutler is accurate, and that is why he is good. But he also makes stupid mistakes, and relies solely on his accuracy, and tries to force the ball in there on every play. Accuracy, and the ability to find 2nd and 3rd receivers, are the attributes that make up a superstar quarterback. Accuary & decision making. Sam Bradford has is all.

Another Bradford attribute that will take him far in the NFL is his toughness. Bradford can run the ball and take a hit. Bradford can remain in the pocket and make a last second throw knowing he is going to take a big hit. Toughness cannot be taught, and Bradford has it.

He also has athleticism, height, and a few other intangible qualities to love. Throw in the fact that Bradford is part American Indian. Right on! This kid is the real deal and the NFL will love to have him.

Wise Cat Moan is the best blog with the best predictions so here ya go: Expect Bradford to go to the 49ers at #10 in this year's draft, although he could be picked earlier by the Lions or Seahawks.
