86 Free Throws in Cavs/Magic Playoff Game

TOO MANY FOULS!

Is anybody else getting sick & tired of the lack of basketball being played in the professional basketball playoffs?! 58 fouls were committed in the Game 3 of the Cavs/Magic series. That's way more than a foul/minute. 86 free throws were taken in a 48 minute game!! Most of what we are watching is just fouls and free throws. Lame!!!

The games have been very close, which is great, so nobody is complaining. Well, I am. There has got to be something done. Too many fouls and free throws are ruining the game. Almost every play there is a foul! I'd much rather see more inside play, more shots taken, more drives to the bucket, more Lebron James or Dwight Howard dunks, etc.

Let's say you are watching an NBA game. Every minute of the game you are watching contains at least one foul, the player recovering from the foul, a replay of the foul, the player strolling to the free throw line, free throws, the players slapping hands after the first free throw, etc. Very little BASKETBALL!!!!!!!!!!

What can be done? Crap, I don't know. Maybe limit players to 5 fouls per game? Maybe award 3 free throws instead of 2? Maybe make the court longer/wider allowing these enormous athletes more room to operate?

The NBA Playoffs = Foul & Free Throw marathon
