Matthew Stafford of Georgia gets more attention as an NFL prospect, but Oklahoma's Sam Bradford is the better quarterback. Bradford is the best college QB to come along since Aaron Rodgers. Sam Bradford will be a star!
Yes, Stafford from Georgia has a stronger arm. So what. Haven't we learned by now that strong arms don't mean shit?! I.E. Heath Shuler, Jim Drunkenmiller, JaMarcus Russell, etc. Those cannon-armed QBs were all instant busts. (Yes, JaMarcus is a bust.)
Bradford has plenty of this > the number one quality you look for in a quarterback. What is that quality? What is the number one quality you want in a quarterback? Good question. It's not athleticism. It's not arm-strength. It's not elusiveness, or height, or even intelligence. It's not experience. It's not mobility. It's not coaching. Many would say it's decision-making. Nope. Even more important than that. It is....accuracy. Troy Aikmen-type accuracy. Joe Montana-type accuracy. Aaron Rodgers has that type of accuracy. So do the Manning brothers, Tom Brady, and a few others. Even if you make the wrong decision, and throw to a receiver well-covered instead of the wide open receiver, accuracy can overcome that mistake. Accuracy is the one attribute NFL defense's cannot stop. Sam Bradford has that accuracy. Have you seen this kid play?! He is a joy to watch.
Not only does Bradford possess excellent accuracy, he has other intangibles like being able to look off his first receiver, his second receiver, and then throw a bullet to his third option. And he can do it in a split second. This is extremely important in the NFL. Most NFL quarterbacks don't have that tool. Most QBs, Jay Cutler comes to mind, never look to their 2nd or third option. Cutler is accurate, and that is why he is good. But he also makes stupid mistakes, and relies solely on his accuracy, and tries to force the ball in there on every play. Accuracy, and the ability to find 2nd and 3rd receivers, are the attributes that make up a superstar quarterback. Accuary & decision making. Sam Bradford has is all.

Another Bradford attribute that will take him far in the NFL is his toughness. Bradford can run the ball and take a hit. Bradford can remain in the pocket and make a last second throw knowing he is going to take a big hit. Toughness cannot be taught, and Bradford has it.
He also has athleticism, height, and a few other intangible qualities to love. Throw in the fact that Bradford is part American Indian. Right on! This kid is the real deal and the NFL will love to have him.
Wise Cat Moan is the best blog with the best predictions so here ya go: Expect Bradford to go to the 49ers at #10 in this year's draft, although he could be picked earlier by the Lions or Seahawks.

I can't believe Bradford is not going pro!? He would have been the #1 pick.
